Checkers update

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

I've updated my Checkers set.

The old set had you move pieces by physically dragging them across the board. It was a nice idea, but dragging things in SL is tricky at best. This new version lets you click on a piece, and then click on where you want it to go. It works a lot better.

The Checkers Set is still just one prim when not in use (during a game it rezzes 32 pieces). It automatically cleans up when nobody is around.

Thanks Rif. Glad you added the feature of automatic clean-up. People were leaving their checkers out all around La Musique and not cleaning up after themselves. Quite handy.

Is it possible to have that feature programed into real life teenagers? If so, sign me up!

I rezzed by copy of checkers, but the contents do not contain the script, so it doesnt run! The game doesnt have a remote, or I dont understant what that is, so I cant request redelivery of the game.

Some customers don't realize that the checkers game doesn't come in a box -- the box you receive *is* the game. And if you try to unpack that, you'll break the game.

My license system is only for the "Premiere Line" games that sell for over L$1000. If your checkers set isn't working, contact me in-world for a replacement.
