Good news, everyone!
The latest Linden Lab release of Havok 4 has fixed the bug that was causing En Garde to malfunction. So, if you have your own island and you'd like to join the Havok 4 Early Adopter program, you can do so and still enjoy your games of En Garde.

It's been a long three weeks in the wilderness here. The very day I expanded from one EG strip to three in my new stadium is the day my estate owner went to Havok4 Beta. I had the dubious privilege of discovering the bug.
Now I'm looking forward to playing tournament hostess--and feeding the hungry fencers some Frootcake between bouts :)
